Located down a drive off of Elaroo Avenue, Phillip Bay. It was probably built as part of the Eastern Extension Australasian and China Telegraph Company, and was later used for multiple government-run children homes or schools between 1917 and the mid 1980s.
In 1984, the deed was given to the La Perouse Local Aboriginal Land Council, where it remains as the administrative headquarters for the Council today, and as a base for community services.
