Full titleMilford House, RandwickDate1986DescriptionImage shows 2- 4 Milford Street, a Victorian Boom Style mansion built in c. 1879 as 'Urara', later 'Whyralla', many original parts of the building remain but with modern additions and alterations. It was the residence of John See, who was Mayor of Randwick on multiple occasions, became the first Premier of NSW from 1901-1904 after Federation, was a member of the Legislative Assembly in 1880-1904, held several government positions, including Colonial Treasurer, and was knighted in 1902.
