The bottom of the sign bears the lyrebird logo of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, which managed the La Perouse Museum from 1988 to 2017.
Handwritten notes by Glen Blaxland on the reverse of the sign read: ‘Original public signs on display at front of Laperouse Museum from opening day 2/1988 until 1999. On way to be thrown out by labourers and saved by Glen Blaxland’. DimensionsH: 880mm
