It presents a detailed map of the northwest coast of America, as surveyed by La Pérouse’s frigates in 1786. Marked as the third sheet (3e. feuille), it joins Pl. 17 (1e. feuille) and Pl. 29 (2e. feuille) of the atlas to form a larger map of the northwest coast of America.
The original copperplates of the 1797 atlas accompanying the journal of La Pérouse’s expedition during 1785 and 1788 are now held in the collection of the Musée de la Marine, Paris.
