TitleShip's plaque, Patrouilleur La MoqueuseAbout this objectRectangular wooden plaque with bronze relief of the ship Patrouilleur (Patrol Boat) La Moqueuse, which translates as The Mockingbird, a motif depicted on the crest. Commissioned in 1987, the boat is based in Nouméa, New Caledonia, and made several stopovers in Australia and New Zealand during its career. It has assisted the Fortunes de Mer association in several occasions in its search for shipwrecks, notably during its excavation campaigns on Vanikoro in search of the wrecks of L’Astrolabe and La Boussole (Net-Marine).Object No.2013.12DimensionsH:290mm
