Jon Lewis (1950-2020) was an Australian social and documentary photographer, and a founding member of Greenpeace. He was a contemporary of artists Brett Whiteley and Martin Sharp and a resident artist at the Yellow House in the 70s. Lewis covered issues such as conflict in East Timor, global warming, and whaling, as well as studying Bondi beach-goers.
