Pair of three-storey terraces, originally comprising two residences but subsequently divided and adapted for multiple occupancy. The land lot was purchased by John Cunningham of Sydney, a plumber, in 1882 and the pair of buildings were erected by 1886. According to the Sands Sydney and NSW Directory, the first residents are Arthur J Lewis, merchant, and Bejamin J Wetherill, surgeon. The houses were named Strathallen (152) and Gladstone(154).
