A two storey reconstructed Victorian Italianate boom style house, built circa 1885. Completely authentic if not true to original. Simple rectangular plan, with narrow end to front and small side extension. Part of a Crown Grant of 8 acres (3.25 hectares) to Lewis Gordon, surveyor, in 1847.
The street name of 'Pine Street, Randwick was changed from Alice Street in 09/07/1930, possibly named after the house
