Part of a set of three matching Italiante houses along Avoca street, representative of the Boom Style development that occurred during the transition period from the Victorian to Federation period in Randwick. The buildings have asymmetrical facades created by the large arches on one side and the smaller round arches on the other, repeated on each level of each building. The Dutch gabled pediments depict the name of each building and feature intricate moulding detail in the Corinthian order. (This building is on the State Heritage Inventory)
Clovelly, on the far right, contains the Karitane Mothercraft Society.
