Cromwell Park Fountain

Sandstone fountain with a column-supported dome. Dedicated to the public by the Brand Recreation Ground Trustees to commemorate the opening of the Long Bay Public School. 'Brand' was the name the Europeans first used for the village at 'Long Bay'. The suburb was renamed 'Malabar' after the famous shipwreck.

Cromwell Park is named after Oliver Cromwell 1599-1658.
