Full titleBare Island fortDate1967DescriptionBare Fort Island, taken facing south from the rocks at the bottom of the cliff on the mainland, to the right of the wooden bridge. The fort was constructed 1885-1889 and was obsolete by 1902. War Veterans lived in the fort from 1912 to 1963 (the wars excepted).
